Hello! I am an Assistant Professor at the Tobin College of Business, St. John’s University, where I hold the Robert F. Corroon Chair in the Greenberg School of Risk Management. I study decision-making under risk and uncertainty, primarily focusing on the implications of forecasts for environmental risk management. 

I received my Ph.D. in Risk Management and Insurance from Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison, my PGDM (Finance) from IIM Lucknow, and B.Tech. (Engineering Physics) from IIT Bombay. In my earlier avatar, I worked for nine years in the financial services risk management, primarily in credit risk analytics and risk transfer using structured products. June 9, 2024: Xiao (Joyce) Lin and I are organizing the Greenberg School of Risk Management (GSRM)'s inaugural conference on Insurance and Resilience in a Changing Climate in NYC.
